You may have seen him around the club in the personal training studio, in the café, or talking to members and making them smile or laugh. Master Personal Trainer Willie Wilson has a full day starting at 5:30 am that doesn’t slow down until 1:00 am. See below for a look into a typical day as Willie Wilson.
5:30 a.m.: Wake up and start my day. I drink water to rehydrate, shower, and do toe touches to stretch out my body before my day gets going.
7:00 a.m.: Fit in breakfast at home if possible. My breakfasts are typically light, my breakfast today was one hard-boiled egg and a Kind bar. If I don’t have time before leaving, a light breakfast is easy to eat it in the car.
7:30 a.m.: Leave the house to drive my son to school and head into work.
8:30 a.m.: Get to HAC to prepare for my clients that I will have that day.
9:00 a.m.: Start helping my clients reach their fitness and health goals in personal training sessions.
12:00 p.m.: Short break for lunch, I typically grab a smoothie or protein shake. My favorite from the HAC café is the Peanut Butter Cup Performance Shake.
2:30 p.m.: Have a nice break in my day to go pick my son up from school before the clients I have in the early evening.
3:30 p.m.: Back at HAC for a couple more hours training more clients. I typically see between 3 and 6 clients in a day.
6:30 p.m.: My favorite part of the day because I get to go home to my family and settle into a relaxing night.
7:30 p.m.: Make and eat dinner, typically not a super heavy meal but can be hearty.
9:00 p.m.: Take this time to prep for tomorrow, relax, and watch some of our favorite shows (The Voice or Survivor). Sometimes I will do a workout at night if I wasn’t able to squeeze one in earlier in the day.
1:00 a.m.: Ready for bed to get some sleep before repeating.
